Who we are

Sleeping Grape Wine Cellars specializes in custom-built wine cellars and millwork. Our Vancouver-based company handles all of its own manufacturing, assembly and finishing and serves the Lower mainland and Western Canada. We offer an infinite range of cellar options, designing and building every detail according to your choice and specification.

The Sleeping Grape Objective

We love wine in all of its diversities, and when we collect it, we long to share it. The wine cellar may never replace the kitchen as the social hub of the home, however it’s fast becoming the most talked about room in the house. At Sleeping Grape Wine Cellars, our objective is to help you to create a unique cellaring experience in your home so that you may share your passion for wine with your friends in a comfortable, welcoming space.

Services

With our extensive residential construction background, Sleeping Grape Wine Cellars is able to handle all aspects of the wine cellar construction from an unfinished space, or transformation of an existing room in your home. All our custom millwork, wine racking, moldings, library ladders and cellar entry doors, are milled, manufactured and finished by our own people in our Vancouver based facility. In addition to this we provide and oversee a variety of quality, reputable trade people for all other aspects of cellar construction.

We will work with you to ensure that the finished product meets or exceeds your expectations. It is important to us that we offer you convenience and peace of mind - the more that Sleeping Grape Wine Cellars is able to take care of, the less you have to worry about.

Materials

At Sleeping Grape Wine Cellars we use stable, water based finishes to provide an aroma free environment. Although birch and maple are very popular for racking and millwork, many other species, such as black walnut, cherry and mahogany, are available.
