What is involved in commissioning a wine cellar?
Rollin Fox, President of Sleeping Grape Wine Cellars Ltd, has been working in and around homes for over 20 years. In 1998 he built his first wine cellar and now specializes in custom wine cellar design and construction. “There is an excitement that comes from taking a rough concept, polishing the design with the homeowner and then making it real” says Rollin. “There is nothing compared to walking through a completed wine cellar that previously had been a handful of ideas and drawings suspended within imagination.”

In most cases, we will arrange to have a look at the space so that we can gather the information needed to give you the best advice. It isn’t necessary that you have your wine cellar design idea worked out yet – we can do this with you. After looking at the space and speaking with you, we will get back to you within a few days with initial wine cellar design ideas. Often we nail it on the first iteration however the wine cellar design may go back for tuning and refinement before reaching your final approval. At this point we know what we are building and a quote is generated and presented to you. If you wish to proceed, we are ready to make your wine cellar dreams come true!
